Brown & Thigpen Auctions, LLC will be selling the estate of Eugene “Gene” Soloman MGySgt USMC Retired (Deceased) at 407 Clyde Drive in Jacksonville, North Carolina beginning at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Please arrive early for previewing and registration. We GLADLY accept absentee bids and phone bids from those who preregister!

Proceeds from this auction are being donated to Semper Fidelis Lodge #680 and to Jacksonville NC Chapter of the Order of the DeMolay.

    Approx. 6ft x 9ft 6in with unusual star pattern (8-8-7-7-7-8)
    This Flag became the Official United States Flag on July 4th, 1896. A star was added for the admission of Utah on January 4th, 1896, and was to last for 12 years. The Presidents to serve under this flag were Grover Cleveland (1893-1897), William McKinley (1897-1901),and Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909).  ~ http://www.usflag.org
